At Escubedo, we have integrated Stampack into our engineering workflow. This simulation software allows us to reproduce the complete sequence of cutting, forming and bending processes during both product and tool design.
With this simulation-driven approach, we can design parts for manufacturability from day one, optimise tool design by significantly reducing die try-out and commissioning times, minimise trial-and-error iterations on the shop floor, and anticipate potential cracking, dimensional deviations and springback effects caused by the elastic behaviour of the material.
The implementation and monitoring of the Stampack workflow has been led by David Yaba from the Escubedo team.
